Sadly , I didn't consider the ninjas' outfit colours until it was pointed out to me that they look like surgeons in scrubs.  Nonetheless, I'm reasonably happy with the finished product here.<br />

I  had been meaning to try a sort of concave looking sky perspective for a painting.  The colour scheme is hugely inspired by Maxfield Parrish  since i really love those almost surreal sunset settings he rendered.  The pic was done in Painter on a single layer using a custom oil brush.  Brutal critques are very welcome.<br />

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/149101/149101_1111630043_small.jpg"><br><br>This arduous piece was a 6 day opus i put about 4 or so hours a day into between other jobs.    there was a lot of juggling reference pictures and even more time correcting perspective mistakes.  and it's still not perfect in that aspect.   i don't usually showcase my more stylised work on larger forums as it's not as &quot;mature&quot; i fear.  and it's probably the last until i do more work that's less cartoony.   anyhow, this was done in Painter with an original working size of 5000 x 5000 pixels.<br />
